In the past I have raved about both Newmar and their Winter Garden, Florida dealer, Independence RV.

Recently I contacted Independence RV service department to schedule service work on our '04 Kountry Star, for a small leak in or at the front cap, battery tray replacement and several other minor issues. I was given an immediate appointment and drove the 150 miles to drop it off.

We arrived and the service writer reviewed my list, and while doing so pointed out several things I had overlooked. Addition there were two Workhorse recalls which they were to take care of.

They completed all the fixes I had on the list and when doing so observed what they believed was a "too thin coat of paint on the front bumper and grill area". They contacted Newmar and obtained approval for repainting the entire lower half of the MH under warranty.

Needless to say as we have been since our initial purchase, we are EXTREMELY pleased with our Newmar and more importantly with Independence RV sales and service, specifically with David Scott in sales, Ricky Stiles, Todd Simpson, and Andy Vernak in service.

It is companies like Newmar, standing behind their products, and dealers like Independence RV (both Sales and Service) that make us happy we chose to take our business to them.

We will continue to do so and recommend that others take advantage of Newmar's outstanding product line.

Just as importantly I can't say enough about the after purchase care of what is undoubtedly one of the best dealers available.

This is a little long but with the number of persons who indicate they are unhappy with their MH and or the dealer, I felt compelled to let everyone know of our complete satisfaction with both. For those in the market for a MH or for service work, in my opinion Newmar and Independence RV are second to none.

I have been there when I was traveling in other MH they treated us very well also. I beleive they are on RT 50 west from Orlando. Would take that route going to Silver Springs.

RobandTeresa, It's always nice to hear good stories about our experiences with not only our coaches, but the dealers that sell and service them as well....

I guess that's part of the reason we own Newmar products--Service after the sale. We also had excellent service from Independence, but, I must say Howard RV in Wilmington NC, where we purchased our unit, has excellent service. It's just good knowing if I need parts or service it's available from reliable dealers.
Many other owners can't say that!
