To all Newmar owners, Newmar has expanded its full service facility in Nappanee IN beyond that of warranty and customer pay service/parts.

As a service to your friends and family who may not own a Newmar coach, Newmar has opened its retail service facility to accommodate customers that own products that either the manufacturer is no longer in business or no longer provides factory service support. Services available include, but are not limited to, insurance repairs, electronic upgrades, and carpet/flooring replacement. To secure an appointment, please call Newmar Customer Support at 800-731-8300 or email Phil Stilley at pstilley@newmarcorp.com.

Good for them, I really didn't think they would do it, but am glad they did. It will not only provide a service to those in need, but will educate others to Newmar.

Excellent!

They followed Bob Lee's lead that service and remodeling/upgrading is quite profitable.

I tried to talk with Newmar last year about getting into rehabing units, but the slow down of sales had not really hit home yet. I was able to get some of my work done at the factory, but had to go to two other locations to get a new paint job and flooring replaced. The tech that did the jobs at the factory could not understand how Newmar was turning away work or not being price competive with other businesses in the area.

They have been working on our tow trailer while we are there for 18 months. It was all simple tasks but it was winter and I would rather give them the money than some other service center.

I am glad they are making this a public policy.

You should put this announcement in some of the other brands forums so that they will know about it.

I am a little confused. The Newmar link posted by 007 does not exactly say what the OP said in this thread. The OP is far more inclusive, in particular mentioning any brand out of business and infers they can make appointments anytime where the Newmar post indicates only during winter service and only as a friend referral.

Before I call Phil to confirm and further spread the word, anyone have additional insight?

BTW - I really like this approach, more visibility for Newmar and exposure to their superb Nappanee operation! Besides, it IS doing the right thing!

After getting hosed by 2 seperate Newmar approved dealer/service centers in Colleyville and Oklahoma City, I traveled kicking and screaming(more out of inconveniece at this time) to Newmar's Facilities in Nappanee to have some issues coirrected and have them give my 06 Essex a once over. To my pleasant surprise, the guys in the Hi-Line department are so professional and reasonable. I'll make the sacrafice of time and money to trek to Nappanee for professionalism, savings and piece of mind
