We're on the grounds and getting set up for the big event. As far as early arrival is concerned, there is a limited amount of room for rigs to que up inside the Fairgrounds proper and you will have to unhook your tows before we escort you to the Rally site. If we have a lot of early arrivals, it will probably take you longer to get in and set up than if you wait a bit longer.
The weather is fantastic and it looks like we are going to have a great show! Looking forward to seeing y'all real soon!

Hi All,
The NKK tent and rally are in the same place as we have been the last few years. This is right next to the I4 Interstate highway and across the highway from the Hard Rock Casino. We will be near the Orient Road entrance. If you are at the show, but not at the NKK rally, the easiest way to get to the site of the social is to exit the show by walking past the Nu Wa and Holiday Rambler sales displays. Then walk about 1/4 mile straight. One will see a large white tent. The social will be held in the tent.

Look what I saw at the Camping World near the Fair Grounds. It is a Newmar New Aire. The coach is immaculate and looks original. Go to Newmar New Aire - iRV2.com RV Photo Gallery to see 6 photos.

We are packed in at the show. Closer, with narrower roads than I have ever seen. I have been told the Super Show has been over booked for RVs staying on the fair grounds! In the past 6 years, this has never happened. Maybe, the economy has turned around and nobody told us. It will rain on Wednesday. The rest of the days will be partly cloudy. The Newmar rally has about 120 coaches in attendance. Quite a few organized events arrived today. Many more than in the past. With all the different groups' attendees moving to their assigned parking, it was quite a ballet. For the last 3 days, restaurants have been packed. We traveled about 12 miles from the fair grounds and the restaurants were still packed. Newmar has about 50 coaches on display. This is the same as last year. Let's see if they can sell more than 30. That is about what was sold last year. The assessable Canyon Star is on display. There are also a considerable number of King Aire coaches on display.

Gary, thanks for the update and I want to thank you for allowing me to be your guest at this rally. I must admit there is an impressive display of Newmars in attendance. We arrived about 1:30 yesterday and it took about an hour and a half to get to our spot. Hopefully this rain will get out of here soon so we can enjoy the show. Since this is our first rally keep us updated on "must do" activities.
I hope to get to meet you while we are at the rally.
Sonny

Today, Thursday, it rained. This is good for the after market vendors (inside booths) but not the coach retailers. Overall the crowds were normal as in past years. Traffic at the North Trail (Newmar) display was surprisingly heavy, considering the weather. There are very few insurance and slightly fewer camp ground vendors. Now the CG vendors are still here in force, just fewer of them. For those who have attended the show in past years, you know the vendors are always in the same booths, year after year. A whole bunch of coaches we parked today. I think these are the coaches that arrived by themselves, not attached to any specific group.
This should be "interesting" when all of us try to leave on Sunday.

Thanks for the updates Gary, but I think you're getting ahead of yourself. Today is Wed.

Hi harleyman134,
You are very welcome. If you have not received a welcome package from the Newmar rally hosts please come to the white tent and locate the rally hosts. They are Bob and Bonnie Krieger. There are 3 assistant hosts. They are all parked behind the white tent right next to the fence that borders I4. My coach is the 5th coach from the tent, along the fence next to the road. My name is in the passenger windshield. In the Newmar welcome package is an agenda of the rally activities in the tent. 9 AM on Thursday is a meeting with Newmar executives.

Hi Clifftall,
Yea, you are correct, today is Wednesday. For the rest of the show, the sun will shine. I am tired.

Can someone tell me where you are located at the show? We are in with the vendors, but I would like to stop by and meet you all!

Garykd,I have the same coach as you.Could You ask the Newmar
exec's if they are giving any consideration to those of us that have paint cracking & the paint bubbling on compartment doors.Yes I understand that the coach is 6 years old,but these are obvious, material or manufacturers defects. Thanks for Your consideration.

Hi riverbender,
The Newmar Kountry Klub rally is located north of you. From where you are drive toward the Orient Road access point. As you turn left to go through the guard gate there will be a opening in the chain link fence on the right. Turn right and go through the fence opening. Immediately turn right again and follow the road around to the end. You should see a white tent in front of you. This is the Newmar Rally area and the tent is where the iRV2 social will be held. My coach is 5th from the tent along the interior road fence. My name is on the passenger side windshield.

Hi 05kstar,
There is a program already in place. One must have their coach evaluated by Newmar and if it is decided your concern is part of their program you'll be given a heavily discounted price to have the concern closed. Contact information is 800-731-8300 or email Phil Stilley,

No fifth wheels, Newmar rep. says "no one in Florida sells them so they can't bring them in". Further stated that North Trail where we bought ours in '08 has not dealt with them in 2/3 years. What a bummer.
