The dealer I used to work for is a Newmar dealer since the early 90's - I know that when I was there we stocked alot of parts for them--
Alot of people always search for the lowest price and then wonder why the local Newmar dealer gives them a 4 week appointment for service under warranty.
Not being in the industry anymore, I can say from a customer perspective that I know price is very important- but remember- if the local dealer is not there to service your unit- where are you going to go? To the internet dealer you bought it from in the Midwest and you live in the Northeast?

Remember- when all the servicing dealers are gone- all you'll have is t he selling dealers.

We serviced what we sold- and our prices might be a little higher than the dealer that sold you the unit- but as soon as you're off that dealer's lot and arrive home- who will you call for service? You 'll call your local dealer and when you get the 4 week appt. date. Then you'll try the selling dealer - and they'll tell you to bring it in and they take a look at it.
Only problem is its a 12 hour drive to get to the dealer. That's going to cost you some money to fill the tank. Remember that cheap price-- not so cheap anymore.

You selling dealer has your financial interests in mind. They sold you the unit and they should be servicing it too.

We've been very satisfied with the service from Howard RV Center. They are in Wilmington NC, which is close to but not in SC

We purchased our Canyon Star from Dave Arbogast in Troy, OH: http://www.rvandboatdepot.com/. We are also happy with both their sales and their service dept. They are about 200 miles from the Newmar factory and we wanted to break in our new coach ourselves over the mountains from there to NC, and at least at that time Newmar wanted too much for factory delivery.

Ron Hoover is no longer a Newmar dealer, at least the Rockport store.

I believe they told me the company had dropped or been dropped by Newmar.

The time I needed warrenty work they handled every thing just fine.

I would like to add a dealer to your list.

The Nation’s Newmar Dealer — Steinbring Motorcoaches

Great small dealer that sells a lot of Newmars in Minnesota. Jon Steinbring is a great guy to deal with and he has a good small team of people at his dealership.

We live in San Antonio. It is true that Ron Hoover is no longer a Newmar sales dealer but they are still a Newmar warranty service center. We have our Allstar serviced at the Boerne, TX, location. The new Ancira dealership is right down the highway from Ron Hoover. Makes for some good competition.

I'll do that, did notice the competition down the street from the new dealer.
I just went through the list and removed dealers no longer with Newmar.

You might add --- OUTDOOR LIVING CENTER ---OLCRV.com -- in Russellville, Arkansas....They are located right on I-40 north of Little Rock. They have a very good service center and have been selling Newmars for a long time. I don't know how to add a link - if you would do that please. They have handled service issues and parts for me on 2 Newmar motorhomes and have done excellent work.
