Newmar dealers to consider

I'm going to send out build sheets for my RV after the Hershey PA RV show. I'm hoping to nail down the colors/options there and limit my floorplans to a couple. LOL

Ancira in Boerne, TX will get a shot, as will Summit RV in Ashland, KY, since I know someone in the maintenance dept at Ancira and the sales guy at Summit was awesome (which will be put to the test when I take him up on his offer to take a test drive ). RV One in Albany, NY will get a shot because they are apparently going to be the Newmar guys on scene at Hershey.

I'm in West Virginia, so the KY dealer is appealing. Only an hour away. The TX dealer is also in the forefront, as I plan on joining Escapees and becoming a TX resident.

I have read a LOT of people saying Lindstrom RV....but he's out in California. And I can only imagine CA imposes a ton of additional fees/taxes when buying an RV. I shot him an email today (and he replied while on vacation!!!) and I'll probably follow up with him.

So who else might I want to talk to?

Newmar dealers to consider

We live 40 miles from Ancira, but if I was buying a new one today in Texas, the go-to dealer is National Indoor RV up in Lewisville, TX - 250 miles north of me.

NIRVC has better service for sure. Donít know about price at NIRVC, but the sales attitude I have encountered at Ancira has not been the best.

Iím sure others on this forum will recommend Steinbring Motor Coach in Garfield, MN who has a reputation for good pricing and service.

Another perineal favorite is Midway RV in Grand Rapids, MI.

007 has an excellent reference on this topic under the Important Information for Newmar Owners section the front of the Newmar Owners forum. See the subtopic ďExcellent Newmar Dealers For Sales and ServiceĒ. This grew out of a recent thread on this same topic.

Coachlight RV in Carthage, MO is regularly mentioned as quoting some of the best prices in the country. I've ordered from them and expect delivery in early to mid August. I can't say enough about the experience to date.

If you're out-of-state (don't live in CA), you don't have to pay CA sales tax -- so long as you take the coach out of CA and register it elsewhere. So that shouldn't be a consideration.

Interesting you mentioned this dealer however as being "good". I'm currently quite dissatisfied with my local Newmar dealer and might consider Lindstrum as they're only a few hours away.

We purchased from Tom Lindstrom. Couldnít be happier that we did. Had a terrible experience and lack of trust with the local (we live near San Diego) Newmar dealer. WoodyS, it would be worth your time, $$, and peace of mind to head North to Moorpark. OP, I would certainly put Tom Lindstrom on your list of dealers to request bids from.

Thanks for the recommendation. Your experience sounds exactly like mine -- which unfortunately is not finished yet.

Speak with Jon Steinbring at Steinbring Motorcoac in Garfield Minn. I did the same thing last year that you're looking to do currently. Sent build sheets all over to other top ranked dealers and many you'll get recommendations for here, all were good but his was the best $$$ by thousands of $$$. We travelled from Ca to get our coach. Good luck and exciting times ahead for you.

Kyle Walcott at Midway RV in Grand Rapids MI. is who we dealt with and had a wonderful experience. We bought ours used though and he was just great to work with long distance. Their PDI was awesome as we were given one full day and could have had more time the next if needed. They were great on any problem that we came across. Best of luck on your soon to be new purchase. Happy camping.

Replied while on vacation, yep, thatís Tom. First coach I found was at Lindstromís. We found it on line. Drove there on a Sunday and my wife called on the way. She told me they were closed, but he would meet us there since we were already on the road. Bought that coach and a few years later ordered our 18 DS. Great company and owner.

I've heard so much about Steinbring and Candlelight. They would be in my top 5 picks.
