Hello All,
I am new to this group and am very happy to have found it. My wife and I are gearing up for our first "fulltimer" experience.. Just purchased a 2008 Newmar Dutchstar 4320, it is loaded with many many options... One issue that I hope someone can help with is this: The keyless entry system (combanation) at the front door of the coach.. I can not find any information in my coach regarding how to set the system. We have no idea what the code was from the previous owner. and can not figure out how to add a code for our use. Does anyone have this system that could shed some light on how to program it? or who to contact for the info. Thanks for any help...

Hi Waltnbecky,
Welcome to iRV2. I'm sure there are members with this type of lock. You can also call Newmar service at 800-731-8300. Have your coach number or VIN. They can lead you through how to reprogram the lock. The VIN can be found on a sticker behind the driver's seat near the floor. The coach number on a sticker mounted to the inside of a kitchen cabinet door.

I sent you a PM thinking that you had the code ...that not being the case follow the...this Link that 007 provided above. If the master code will not work or you want to set up a new code the switch that the Essex directions discuss (on my coach) is in the housing next to the passenger seat. It can be accessed by removing the black coffee cup holder or removing the 6-8 screws on the panel and pulling it slightly away from the wall and you will see the spider web wiring mess just inside. The Keyless entry has about 6 wires in that bundle. Again look at the Essex description of wire color codes to identify the wires. The switch should be in that circuit somewhere.
I think Jason is the tech I spoke with at Essex...he is excellent in walking one through use/problems with the Keyless unit.

If you need more info use the COACH INFORMATION LINK in Quick Tips & Mods link.
You need your coach number and add CS on end of it.=== Like mine 700693CS
A TSB or Tech info may have information I saw info on keyless entry on someone else's number.
