If I remember correctly, remove the frame and the controls are visible on the side. When replacing the wood frame be sure to use heavy duty velcro (regular duty will not hold it in place).

The Mirror LCD I have seen were all controlled by a console on night table maybe it was a option. Also controlled security cameras, lights ,etc.

There are controls on the wall near the bed, but the question regards the manual controls on the TV.

I found Velcro on left side of frame. It seems to release easily but the top and RH side of the frame are rather stubborn. I didn't want to tear something up in a fit of stupidity, so I thought I would seek professional or educated help. I was not aware of any TV controls near the bed but will check them out. Thanks for your help.

Thanks again to those who responded. I have found the problem and it was my ignorance.

When we all get a new coach and one with many options and toys as you have its not ignorance its a learning process that is sometimes long when in fact it was staring us in the face.
Might I ask what it was so someone who may have same question will have a advantage over us and will have the answer.

I am really embarassed to answer, but your question certainly deserves an answer.
My bride had inadvertantly turned the TV bedside control to the off position instead of standby. As soon as I switched the control to standy and touched the power switch, the unit came on as it should. The remote also works now. I had no idea there was a switch by the bed. I could find no reference to this switch in the coach owners manual or in the Philip's owners manual. I also know how to remove the frame that surrounds the TV now. Thanks again.

Interesting thing I ran into with the mirrored Phillips TV. If I ran my sat receiver on anything above 420i resolution, no picture would show. Therefore I never could use 1080p for HD signals. I thought I would have to replace the unit with a Sony, like the rest. I asked Newmar how much it would cost to replace the set. They said they thought they could convert the current Phillips to run on HD also. This could not be done by programming.
They removed the set and made some changes. WOW! what a difference. The picture was never as good as the Sony's, but now it is. 1080P HD picture.
Just thought I would pass that along as I was never really impressed with the Phillips performance. Now I am.

Thanks for the information Peter. We never watch the bedroom set as neither of us can stay awake long enough. I will practice that some and see if I can overcome the problem.
I presume you had this work done at the factory. We hope to visit Napanee very soon and deal with some other issues and would consider letting them tweak our Philips.
Thanks for your post.
