Many of you have met "Diesel" Dan Cutting, one of the sales professionals from North Trail RV in Fort Myers.

I learned yesterday that Dan suffered traumatic injuries from a tragic fall at his residence on Thanksgiving Day and he is currently in the trauma unit at a local hospital.
Apparently Dan's home had suffered damage in one of the recent hurricanes and they had been staying there through the renovation period.
One of the items that had been damaged was the railing around the outside deck and this is where Dan fell from.

The prognosis is guarded but good, as he's pretty busted up.....As I told the family member I spoke to, Dan was a decorated Marine and made it home, only to suffer something like this....

Please keep Dan and his family in your prayers.

talked to a gal there wed pm, she said Dan got out of intentive care an had his own room. he is at lee memorial hospital. room 5118.

so you all pray for him.

Spoke to John Jajuga at North Trail today and have the same info as Bob Phelps....

John said that Dan has a very long road ahead of him....

For all you former Marines out there, Dan could use some of that uh raw magic that only you folks possess...
I have learned some very interesting stories in recent months regarding Dan's past....

To survive the things he's been through to suffer this traumatic accident is a terrible thing...

Let's pray for the best....

just got off the phone with John from North Trail, said Dan was looking under the deck thinking his dog had fallen off and then fell.
Broke his back, 5 ribs and punctured a lung,
besides that he is fine.

talked to John again, Dan has been moved to a
rehab facility "Manor Care" in Ft Myers. Will
try to get their address and pass it on. Bob
I had John's number but can't find it...will let you know.

Spoke with the rep from North Trail who came to get my rig today and he said that while Dan certainly has a long road of recovery ahead of him, apparently he's getting some of that "Semper Fi" spirit back as he informed the nurse that she was two minutes late...
Seems she'd told him earlier she'd be back with meds at 10AM and when she came in it was 10:02.

Anyone who knows Dan would know this is the "real" Dan....Say what you'll do, just do what you say.....

I just might have to head over there and put an eyeball on him next week....
