Uh oh.... Did I get caught sneaking around Building 10 again???? Darn...
I plead ignorance....As I always do...
Something like this???? Apologies for the Colorado mountain crud all over it.
Had a very balmy -25F (minus 25 that is) the other week here. Nappanee was T-shirt weather.
Sorry I missed ya though....Would like to have met the double Oh!!!

Can't get a pic like you want... The Plexiglas is screwed right to the window frame such that it is parallel to the window glass. A pair of small metal screws. The window frame (hence the Plexiglas) is about 1 inch away from and parallel to the window glass.
It takes a couple miles to get used to the Plexiglas and then it magically disappears. A matte inside surface (glass beading, frosted Plexiglas, paint a velvet Elvis on it, something) is important as the gloss Plexiglas reflects a little.

RV DUDE, will Newmar provide this enhancement to us or is it for purchase only? When I was at the factory om 2006 complaining I considered it a safety issue as my rear view mirror during daylight hours was horrible and at night unusable. Newmar modified my mirror setup by installing a long arm as on the passenger side. This resolved the glare issue, but with the post intefering I have only about 60% usage of the mirror

I don't know, I think I was a guinea pig for it. Given it has an official p/n I suspect it is a cost item? Maybe if you bring up your prior issue they might take that into account?? Maybe, if you have a Newmar history for this issue, if you get it from the Newmar service side it might be a different cost than if you get it from the Newmar parts side? Heck, what do I know?????

Yep, it has an official Newmar p/n 017805. Of course, Ms. Jeanne can figure out anything from any description, so some description to her like "the Nevin rear-mirror anti-glare in the window plastic thingee gizmo" will also work quite well.

Get thin film window tint at walmart. Cut to size for your field of vision and place on window. It can be removed and reused.
