Newmar KountryStar Onan Generator

I have a 94 Newmar KountryStar with an Onan Model 7.5 DKDFJ Spec 27799D Generator! It has a Cummins Fuel Pump Model 20142! Does anyone know what the PSI for that Pump is and what a good Crossover Pump would be that is cheaper than what Cummins is asking! $200+! Thank you for any help that you can give me on this matter! Peter

Peter,
If you're sure you need a pump (I'm assuming your referring to the lift pump) I don't think there are any choices but Cummins. I may be wrong but I'd be very surprised if the were other suppliers.
A Cummins dealer should be able to give you test specs.

Thanks for your reply Dennis45! I have asked a Cummins dealer for the PSI on that pump and they said that they didn't have that stat! That's all I need to know as I have found after market pumps that will fit but need the PSI. A small engine machanic told me that around 5 PSI would be good! Does that sound right to you?

Sounds reasonable. The key will be to maintain positive pressure at Full Load which will be a factor of the pump volume.
