Newmar module and/or ECM

I have a 2004 Essex that the Spartan service center is working on trying to figure out a speedometer issue. They have checked all the harnesses and ECM for the cummins and Allison and all checked out fine. They tell me they have one module left to check, the Newmar module but have not been able to find it. It's supposed to be somewhere under the dash.
Does anyone know exactly where it might be or if there is one at all? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Tom, I did buy a new speedometer before I took it to Spartan just in case and it didn't fix the problem. I wish that was all it was.

I have found Spartan 800 number very good to work with when having problems. I suggest you call again. Some techs on the phone are better then others so another phone call would be next step. I do know that with our Scan-D reader it gives us the MPH so there is a link to the ECM and speedometer. If I can be of future assistance my e mail is tomchelbana@roadrunner.com Tom
