Newmar New Aire - Really Nice Coach

Hi All,
I've been at Camp Newmar since May 9. During this time I have been privileged to see several New Aire coaches in various stages of production. Newmar production is closed today through Monday. The following has no Newmar authorization for publication. These are my observations.
1. 33' length
2. two models. They are the reverse of each other.
3. queen bed
4. stacked washer/dryer
5. mid bath tile shower on one side and toilet on the other.
6. Even though it is a mid bath and 33' long it has the exit door found on the larger coaches.
7. The exit door has a panel in the lower half of the door. It is well blended in with the upper half of the door. No one would confirm what is behind the panel. Saw no wires. Might be a ladder!
8. The kitchen and living area are all very upscale. Free standing chairs, Televator, table for dining, etc.
9. The kitchen and entertainment area are reversed left to right for the two models.
10. Dash is Optiview instrument cluster. All electronic LED.
11. 3K inverter with a separate button 30 AMP button fuse for incoming power, pass through outbound power and outbound inverter power.
12. 24K rear axle
13. central vacuum system
14. electric cord on a power reel
15. water hose on a power reel
16. brass fitting to connect external water supply
17. macerator for waste dump
18. auto fill fresh water tank
19. 8K generator
20. STAR foundation
21. More Floor in the living area
22. Hydraulic power for More Floor slide
23. 360 HP B6.7 Cummins side radiator
24. 60 degree steer wheel cut
25. Roadwatch -
25a. This is electronic stability control and roll stability. Automatically selects braking and speed reduction when appropriate.
25b. Adaptive Cruise Control
25c. Automatic Traction Control
26. 8 coach batteries
27. 2 engine batteries

Unable to get pricing. Enjoy

Any idea what the UVW and CCC weight capacities are? Any concerns all the fancy options will overload the chassis?

Regards,

Gary

Hi FLCPA,
GVWR = 38.6K lbs
GCWR = 48.6K lbs
Wheel Base 206"
Fuel Tank = 75 Gallons
DEF = 15gallon driver side fill

That is all I have. Gut feel says there will be plenty of carrying capacity.

Did you see "Free standing chairs" ??

They are not listed as an option and none of the current photos show them. it looks to me like there is only the regular dinette or Euro, but not enough room for free standing chairs.

Perhaps, a special that someone or a dealer has ordered?

A bigger engine would have been nice.

An RV mechanic (who seemed knowledgeable) told me larger diesel pusher engines don't work on shorter coaches because they are too heavy and negativity impact the balance and ride of the coach. I don't know if he is correct on this. It would seem at the price point and target audience Newmar would have put in a larger engine if they could.

Hi kwilkins,
I did not see the free standing chairs. I saw the table and area for seating.

Hi All,
For those considering a New Aire there is one thing you may want to think about. The shower is nicely tiled. The floor of the shower is not tiled. The floor of the shower is the same white plastic Newmar has used for years. It is personal preference but it seemed a bit out of place, to me.

Does it have the newer HWH slides?

I'm not seeing much here that I would want over my VTDP 3412 or could retrofit for fewer dollars.

Hi kwilkins,
An update. You are correct. The dining area is a Euro type fixed dinning area. #8 in the original post is in error.
