We just stayed at the KOA by the Gaylord/ Opry hotel. Right next to Camping World. Beautiful park, great people and updated amenities.

In the Tampa area, looks like we'll be spared the worst. But if needed, I will move the rig from her RV park to the house where there are fewer trees and less water nearby.

We drove today 9 hrs from Edgewater to Dothan AL . Traffic was jammed in many places, rest stops had line up to get in, but we made it. AL is filling up fast. We had hard time getting a spot. My wife chose to save the RV instead of the house[emoji106].
Good luck to everyone.

Prepare for the worse and and head North if nothing happens you have lost just a few days of your life. But you have spared yourself from danger.

I am at Tyndall AFB Famcamp. Left Jacksonville at 3:00am last night and luckily traffic moved at 65mph all of the way

We live in the Orlando area and are staying home. Coach is parked on side of house and will be our home once storm passes and we lose power.

We were on the way to Rocky Mtn NP and are currently in Nebraska.... we are going to sit tight here for a day or two then head back to FL to address damages at our places in Tampa and Key West.

We left Key Largo Wednesday night, and are at our other home in Ft. Mill SC.I don't think we could get back in the Keys for a while, so we may salvage some of our original planed two month trip.We are heading to the Hershey RV show.

We're expecting 80-100 winds I know this has been discussed before. I know slides in, but jacks up or down? I've always been under impression to be aired up with jacks retracted in high winds. We don't plan to be in coach until after storm passes & power is out

The world's largest Newmar dealer, North Trail RV in Fort Meyers, FL appears to be just a little east of a direct hit by Irma (dirty side) based on current track estimate. Calling for up to a 15 foot storm surge after the eye passes near the river. Based on Google Earth the North Trail RV lot is 15' MSL. Adjacent I-75 appears to be about 5' higher than the lot.

Based on the web site they have an enormous inventory of new 2018 Newmars on the lot.
