Newmar owners base camp near Quebec City

Any recommendations from fellow Newmar owners on a convenient base camp near Quebec City. I’ve heard that Camping Transit CG in Levis QC is pretty nice. We will be in the area this coming week.

We have heard the same thing. Today we booked a site and we arrive tomorrow.

We were torn between here with good ferry access directly into old town, and the KOA near the bridge so we could drive in, but would have to deal with parking.

They have a special going on right now, $199 a week for a full hook-up, 50-amp site. We may not stay a week, but this was cheaper than four nights at the regular price, so we had nothing to loose.

We’ve heard the road noise is bad on one side, so check carefully when selecting your site. We’ll be on site 172 unless they move us, so come by and say hi!

Hi Ward, we are in site 194. Heading out in a few moment for the second shuttle to the ferry. Hopefully we can connect later in the day or tomorrow. We are here for the week.
