Newmar Premiere Dealers
We are about 12 months from Full timing and we are looking at Tiffin and Newmar as our new home. Sure would like some reference on dealers that preform for there customers, Also Newmar as aservice center if one returns to the factory for service. We will most likely purchase pre-owned.

My vote would be to Independence RV, but they're in FL and you didn't say where you are willing to go. It's where I purchased my coach. They just got another highest service excellence award, which is a huge plus when you need work performed.

You can't beat the factory for service.
Usually no waiting for parts, all the knowledge and experience is there and they have clout with the suppliers.

Andy and Sally,
We bought our 2015 DSDP 4369 from Steinbring in Garfield Minnesota and were very pleased with the entire experience. Jon is the owner, Lee is the salesperson and Randy Baker conducts the orientations. All are excellent and we got the best price of anywhere right out of the gate!! Good luck and hope you are having fun with the process!!

Midway RV in Grand Rapids, MI. Everyone there is awesome to deal with. Since you'll be buying pre-owned, it'll more likely come down to which of the premier dealers has in their inventory the model, floorplan, features and condition that works best for you. Keep an eye on all of their pre-owned inventories online constantly. Inventory changes rapidly. Ask a lot of questions and be comfortable with the responses you receive before you make your final decision. You'll be pleased with a Newmar.

I have to second the vote for Independence RV near Orlando. We've purchased 2 coaches from them and they have been great with both sales and service. If you call, ask for David Scott in sales.

Sales tax would be based on where the OP decides to register the vehicle in. Doesn't matter where they purchased it.

Welcome AndySally to the forum.
Here is a link with everything Newmar you will find dealers good and not so good, different coaches some old some new.
Many in forum have older coach's living a second life going back to early 90's because Newmar's hold there own when it comes to second owners use.
In QT's # 3 there are links to newly remodeled older coach's and many links for a Newmar you maybe interested in.
Good luck in your hunt and if you come up with something let us know so we can help you out.

We are selling our Tiffin which we have had for 7 years and purchasing a Newmar. Our Tiffin dealer was Kings Campers in Wausau WI. There service was outstanding and difficult to leave. Tiffin factory service requires a sense of humor and patients. But our trips to Red Bay where a positive part of our Tiffin experience. Bob Tiffin is legendary for taking care of a Tiffin owner. They just did 2 fairly significant repairs and covered them under warranty for a 7 year old coach.
Visited many Newmar dealers as we determined what we wanted for next coach. Midway in Grand Rapids MI was very knowledgeable and really worked to get our business. They get great comments on this forum. I think their proximity to Newmar and relationships with key Newmar personal is valuable. They were able to help in getting some custom specials that were unusual. I have come to believe that you get better service at a smaller family owned dealer in a smaller city.
We will doing a factory delivery on our new coach which will be our first experience with Newmar factory service.
Good Luck

I would highly recommend Independence RV in Wintergarden, FL- just on the west edge of Orlando FL. I have bought 2 MADP from them because they had the best prices of any of the 6 dealers I shopped. They also have a great service team & great service - they have won Newmar's Mahlon Miller Service Excellence Award numerous times & there's a reason for that.
Factory service @ Nappanee is super- they can fix anything that comes up. You need to call ahead & schedule your service with Phil Stilley-service scheduler- 1-574-202-3959 as they get booked up in the spring, summer & fall periods & service lead times can be as much as 6-8 weeks out during those times.

AndySally-
You need not look any farther than your own backyard. This time last year I was ordering a 15 Dutch Star and I sent out requests for bids all over the country. For this much money I am willing to travel! They were given one chance to email their best price and no second calls or negotiating to try and undercut another dealer. The best price hands down came from Dave Roe of Coachlight RV in Carthage MO. I just recently went through the same exact process again to order a 16 Dutch Star. I had no trade-in either time. Dave came in with the lowest price again. Btw, both times Lee from Steinbring was a very close 2nd place. I have nothing but the utmost respect for both of these gentleman. They did what I asked with absolutely no funny business.
I have posted here in the past about my experience with Newmar factory service. Its out of this world. You may choose to never go anywhere else for service work. Of course they have the expertise to get the job done right. But what really sets them apart is their attention to communicating with you on a daily basis. You know exactly what is going on with your coach the entire time its in their possession.
Good luck.
