After replacing one of my rear running lights was sitting comparing Newmar quality vs a popular higher priced "bus". No comparison-Newmar recesses their running lights, bus just mounts them on top. Newmar's slides are flush, bus slides overlaps. Moulding connecting outsides, roof, doors much better done on Newmar. Etc,etc.

Ps-running light broke because I left my flag pole up in 70 mph wind. Called Newmar last wednesday for new light, recceived it today Monday(without calling Bob) and installed it in 5 min(no charge for shipping!).

I often sit on roof and admire my Newmar's construction also as compared to other coach's camped around us.

I wouldn't own anything else! Initial and long term qaulity are a cut above. I owned a mountain aire fifth wheel for ten years and when it came time to upgrade there wasn't even another manufacturer I considered.

I guess if you drink the kool-aide then uncle Bob makes the world go round. With Newmar once the initial FEW bugs are sorted you never need the service department. My fifth only had two problems in ten years and both were small initial bugs.

My new coach has had a fairly significant list of bugs, but most are attributed to lack of care while sitting on the dealers lot for two years. The only initial bugs were a wiper arm loose, and a defective power motor in the passenger seat. The other problems have been from sitting in the Orlando sun without waxing or upkeep, such as batteries and some dead clearcoat on the upper surfaces. Newmar has picked up the tab for the paint repairs and all lot rot problems without a hitch. What more could you ask for , as the dealer was actually responsible. I did pickup the tab on the batteries since I didn't think about it at purchase and didn't feel right asking Newmar to pick up that tab since it was a lack of maintenance out of their and my control.

I'm extremely satisfied with Newmar products.
