Our Newmar Quick Tips & Mods has grown out of room because of all the links and pictures so I'am adding a new link that as it grows will be added in the original Newmar QUICK TIPS & MODS LINK.
Started by Route 66 #1
You have to realize we have lost some links in #1 do to age and software changes in the past years, and we are getting up there in age.

"ADD NEW TIPS AND MODS IN NEW POSTS"

For starters we have a thread on OUTSIDE ENTERTAINMENT IDEAS thread started by "jimwo" and pictures supplied by Dean "deanjeep & Tom "tchester"
Thanks for all the good work by our members.

Can someone tell me about picking up an RV at the Newmar plant? What are the costs, what to expect, how long to have one made, etc? We are looking at the Newmar BayStar 2901. Thanks for any info!

I should no longer be surprised by what I find on the site, but I usually am. These quick tips don't apply to just one brand, many of them can be used for all applications. Many thanks for all the ideas!

We picked up our 2008 Essex at the plant using what I believe is called elete service, at a cost of $2500. In doing this they spend as much time as you need to go over every single item with you so you understand it. Also before you get there they do a complete check to make sure all componets are working. Since we had been a previous owner I am not sure it is worth the cost. Call Newmar Customer service and ask them what today's cost is and what is included in that cost. Mfg time, depending on how busy they are can be as short as a week. If you can schedule your time you may be able to see your unit being made.
