Newmar recall Dimplex remote control

Received a recall notice for the Dimplex remote control box which, it says, can catch on fire at any minute. First of all, I didn't know I had one, but, more importantly it's 5 years old. Turns out it's the remote control for my fireplace. Of course we use it, but since it was new (and I asked Pappy @ North Trail) why it kept going on, and was told it must be other frequencies in the immediate area. So, when not in use we always shut the circuit breaker. In case any of you have moved or bought your unit used, and did not receive this notice; you should probably call Newmar and get it sent to you.
