Newmar Silver Leaf AC control

As we learn, as we travel, it has come to a point when we have been traveling with out side temp at hundred or close to it, and 18 LA inside temp is 80 degrees inside we have found that the AC works better when there is a large temp difference between the set and the desired temp. Stated another way we set the temp for 60 degrees on AC instead of 70 degrees our desired temp and the AC blows higher and AC temp is lower longer when you have a large temp from what you set it for. If we set the AC for 70 when it gets to about 75 the blower slows down and the air isn't as cold as when we have it set for 60. When it starts getting to cool we then raise the setting to 70 degrees.

Newmar Silver Leaf AC control

There’s a setting on the Silverleaf display to set the fan speed. The default is Auto, but you can change it to Low or High. So you could set your temperature to 70 and put the fan on High. I was playing around with this setting last weekend, as it wasn’t warm enough for the AC to kick on during the night, but the air in the coach was feeling stagnant. I turned the fan on Low to get the air circulating.

This is interesting,as with the A.C. Set at 67 at night,my wife will wake up and think it is hot,but then the A.C. Kicks in and all is good
My run the stand up can tower more at night for circulating air...C
