Yup, same exact slide. The shaft sheared, motor would turn but wouldn't do much. Luckily still under warranty at the time. Newmar fixed it after I was able to push it back in with a half dozen guys and get it to an authorized service center. I still hold my breath when I push the button.

Our main slide has been a problem since new. Had a dealer look at it, repair order said "lubed the slide" and pronounced it OK, this was in 2005. Since then I've replaced the controller since the voice quit and I thought it was bad. No change. Have to pull (or push) the slide in up the ramp every time even though the controller pot is set to full power. I've looked the stuff in the quick tips and repairs over, just haven't delved into the workings yet.

i just feel that my coach had faulty parts because now newmar isnt using the same thing on the slides like mine was built in 2005. now mine of course is out of warranty and here i am. the other bedroom slide on the passenger slide would not open for 1 1/2 years and had been back to the factory 3 times than newmar rewired it and knock on wood so far ok on that one.
but had problems with the front slides also.
