Newmar Super C
The February issue of RV Pro magazine (trade magazine) has a full page ad from Newmar that says "Doing it better starts with reinventing how it's done" and then "A new kind of Super C is coming - see it live at RVX 2019"
No more info is given and there is no picture. RVX 2019 is a trade show in Salt Lake City that starts March 12.

Think of all the "Class A" only resorts they will not be able to stay at.

That's one of the first thoughts I had. We started out with a Super C and traded it for a class A specifically because we couldn't get into the resorts that my wife wanted to go to.

We're on our second Newmar and never spent a night yet in one of those places.

A new Renegade pulled in next to us about an hour ago. It has a beautiful paint job and really looks nice. I saw one of the bay door hinges.....built like a tank.

We did a tour of the Renegade factory back in 2017 and were very impressed. They and the New Aire have been on our short list for our next coach. A Newmar Super C, if on an MDT chassis (and not a Ford/Dodge super duty like the Isata 5's) would be intriguing, especially if it used hydronic rather than LP heat/hot water like the Renegade Verona LE and above.

There are quite a few "resorts" that won't allow anything but class A coaches, and some have a length limit where you have to be long enough to be accepted.

I would do a trade in for a Super C in a heartbeat! I've never been in a place where they were not allowed. After having to make reservations six months out for our DSDP, imagine being able to pull into any truck stop in the country and have a mechanic able to work on your engine. Not to mention the safety of having an engine compartment in front of you that is designed to dive under the vehicle in an accident. Much much safer design.
The problem of course is that finding one that is 40 foot long means losing the front 12 feet to engine making usable space in that RV only 28 feet. I looked and could not find one that I liked with usable living space that was under about a million dollars.

Yea, I wanted to like a super C. The reasons you mentioned, plus the convenience (and safety) of having a driver's door. However, the ones I looked at just didn't have floor plans we liked.

On the second page of this forum there is a thread "Class A resorts" or something like that. Just read the beginning thread by the OP and you will get the general idea.

Over the past several years we have traveled about 60,000 miles around the country. About the only place we have even noticed any "Class A only" parks were in Florida.
Some folks have different needs. Whatever makes you feel special I guess.

I suspect this is one of the FL "Class A only" parks you're referring to:
https://www.naplesmotorcoachresort.c...192.1548246421
At rates FROM $160 per night; I'll have to pass on this "luxury"!
