The 2011 MADP looks to be based on the DADP.

I like the 40" TV up front which is what I have added to my rig.

Some things look real nice some look cheap. Dash looks cheap, foot flush toilet? Paint looks great, ceiling great, MM chassis for Mid $ 400's ?

Thanks, Daryl

From RVBusiness.com: Motorized manufacturer Newmar Inc., Nappanee, Ind., for the 2011 model year has redesigned the luxury Mountain Aire diesel pusher motorhome built on 34,600- or 46,000-pound GVWR Spartan Mountain Master chassis powered by a 425-hp Cummins ISL engine.

Available in six 40- to 43-foot floorplans, the redsigned Mountain Aire, introduced last week at the 47th Annual National RV Trade Show, includes new front and rear caps with an integrated spoiler, framless double-pane windows, integrated power awnings, coffered ceilings, halogen lighting porcelain floors, solid-wood hand-glazed cabinets, Mystera countertops and NewPlex multiplex wiring system that includes timed cockpit ceiling lights. MSRP: $406,695.

Now... if only Newmar would update their website with the new information before we begin hearing about the 2012 model.

Spartan chassis with the pre-2010 emissions requirements are in VERY short supply at Newmar. A few weeks ago they thought they had enough to last until late spring/early summer. With the flood of orders coming in, Newmar will run out long before that. Some makes such as Dutch Star and Mountain Aire could be out of Spartan chassis by January.

The 2010 engines have a urea tank and the cost is roughly $20K more. Spartan is so busy with their military contracts that they may not be able to meet RV manufacturer's demand. If you want a Spartan chassis you should consider not waiting much longer.

Well that stinks! The Cummins engines in Dodge trucks won't need the urea tank, which should give it a big advantage over Ford and GM.

Newmar has no 2010 MADP chassis. They are sold out (not necessarily built out, but sold out).

Hi 69RoadRunner,
It's either SCR (urea) or EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) emissions process. To a coach owner the bottom line is for the same size engine, the engine with the urea process will have the same or a slight horse power boost. Engines with the EGR emissions process will have a horse power drop. Newmar feels coach owners care about horse power. The disadvantage is every so often the owner must fill the urea tank.

You are correct about no 2010 MADP chassis. I was referring to the inventory of 2011 Spartan chassis. Lee
