I spoke to Larry Mullet at Newmar this morning, and here is the latest update.
There are just a few Ventana chassis left with the old LSD engines. He stated they could be sold at any moment.
There are approximately 50 Kountry Star chassis available with the old LSD engines.
All other chassis/models are being built with the new ULSD engines.

Dirk,
I suppose those chassis / engine combinations were built before the end of 2006 and have been setting on the lot since then. I assume that also means they have old tires and chassis batteries and probably rust. It might be best to go with the ULSD engine with new tires, batteries and no rust.

I don't know.
The engines would have been built before the end of 2006, and I wonder if they could be installed in a fresh chassis?
I'll be here into next week, and I'll look into it.
