Yesterday, July 3, I was inbound from the east to Vancouver, Canada via the TransCanada #1. About 350 miles out I started noticing that every second RV going the other way was a Newmar. Was there a rally or something on the weekend in the Vancouver area for Newmars?

Hi Tw, Newmar is a great product and they have no specific side wall issue. I'm on my third and it will be Newmasr for my fourth.
Wow! This posting I did back in '05.

Peter, thanks for the note... Yes - I know, it was a bit old, but since nobody answered, I thought, I should answer and let you know about why you see so many Newmars....
When we ordered our Newmar in summer of 2007, we had never heard of Newmar, but we are happy (sofar) with our Bay Star and the DW has to fly only a bit over a year, so - we slowly get rid of "STUFF" and look for a bigger Coach.
The discussion about those walls got us a bit (a lot) scared. We take now our time and consider other brands too......! But we might come back to a DS (we would call it "Northern Star").
Next time you roll into Vancouver give us a call or mail!

RVgreetings

Will do. I generally get there once a year. This year, that is the past 12 months, once by coach and three times via plane.

Peter, we also are on our 3rd Newmar. We will sit back and wait a few years to see how this ends up. We've been through it twice and were told that the 06's had different sidewalls... Checking is happening again.
