Newmar Ventana
Looking at some new and used Ventana's; some feed back would be appreciated. Love them? Hate them? Common or recurring problems? Your advice and counsel will be sincerely appreciated.

We bought. Ventana LE 3436 two years ago and have thoroughly enjoyed it. No major problems since we have owned it. Love the ComfortDrive system for driving ease. Wouldn't buy a motorhome without it. The higher end motorhomes may have more glitz, but the Ventana series offers a solid value.
Good luck with your decision.

Good evening Chief,
I am very happy with our Newmar. Great to drive, quiet and easy to handle. The insulation package is a must have as I recently stayed in 117 weather and and the temp inside was in the low to mid 70's. It depended on how much we went in and out. The tag axle, I believe, helps keep the new mar going straight through the stron Palm Springs winds. I am happy with the quality of the MH and am enjoying the experience very much. Good luck and do your research on the MH's as it will be a good experience if you feel good about your purchase.

Are you able to access the bathroom and refrigerator with the slides closed? And could you estimate the space between the slides in the main part of the coach when the slides are closed? Thanks in advance.

Each floor plan will be different, but here is a picture or my LE4037 with the slides closed.

We love our 2016 3436. Have only had minor issues. Clearance with slides in is similar to the picture above with a kink at the kitchen sink instead of a straight shot. We're not big people, so the clearance to the bathroom, pantry, and refrigerator are ok.

Thanks for the input, guys. The question about walking space with the slides "in" was exactly the question my wife asked. Now I can finally show her how smart I am. It's taken a long time. Looking forward to more research, but the Newmar is certainly on my radar now. Thanks again for your help.

We certainly like our new to us '13 Ventana 3533. Absolute pleasure to drive coming from a gasser.
Take a look thru the tjread re elec slide motor mounts and check them out. It can be an expensive problem if not caught early. If caught before damage not too difficult to correct even DIY.

Yes, both are accessible, though maybe just a little snug for larger folks like us. We routinely stop along the way for lunch or a rest break and have no issues with either, however.

We are in year 3 of our Ventana 4369 and love it. The earlier picture provided is pretty much the same for our coach with the slides closed.
We are also full timing now and find ours provides everything we need. Honestly do not have any negatives to offer.

Here are a couple of pictures of the aisle in a 3436 with the slides closed. The actual width varies between 12" to 15".

Good that you are looking at access with slides in. That is one of the primary reasons we decided on the 3709 floorplan. It gives good living room usability when weather or campground does not allow extending slides. When on the road we have adequate access to the frig & front bathroom.
