Newmar is in the process of updating their web site, and some 2007 info
is now online.

Looks like the Scottsdale has been replaced by the Bay Star and/or the Canyon Star.
Why would they change the web site to include 2007, contain hardly any information, dumb.

I had just checked the site last week. With the anouncement add in FMCA this month I guess it was due for a change. Now all we have to do is win the Power Ball with those prices we are going to need it. Maybe I'll just wait for the new MA-25.5.
Thanks for the info Dirk. "007"

Just checked out the '07 MADP -high on the WOW factor list.

May just have to go drive one. I especially want to test the new steering assistance.

Can anyone tell me what the security system is all about for 2007 in an Essex?

The Newmar security system includes two motion sensors, one in the front area and one in the bedroom. Addionally, when enabled, requires a code to disarm or it will activate a short time after entry. Considering some of the problems some have had, like the motorhome in Circus Circus that was entered and robbed. The unit was locked but either the dead bolt was picked or a master key was used. In this case they would have had to flee as it would activate. I think with the strange happening today, it's worth the extra bucks.

I thought that it was supposed to be the same as This Security System, which is used in the Allegro Bus.

Good one Mark....Of course with "your own" security system you aren't worried about it either!

Oh, you gotta love that. It would certainly stop anyone from moneying around your vehicle, but probably costs alot of bananas.

I still think the "throw the black bag at 'em" has some merit....I was in a new MADP last week and Mewmar uses more than one black bag now....

Since we have another topic IRT to the 2007 Newmar website I'll close this one...
