Happy to report that after checking mine this morning, all connections are clean and tight. Took all of 5 minutes.

This has been brought up many times on this forum and you can find the info in this link that covers many other items for your annual inspection.
You also need to check this link for TSB's that cover every coach from 1999 to present 2018, some 1999 have three pages.
Don't think Newmar is the only one with this problem if you look at link MIKE gave us other MFG's have the same problem plus other recalls.
As I have said before VIBRATIONs will loosen up many screws traveling down the highway, 12v fuses panels, load center wiring, GEN location, maybe even the wiring twist nuts.
THANKs for the reminder MIKE.

My fire extinguisher is model E10, which is not on the recall list, so I guess not every Newmar model is affected.

So explain how the brake pedal and Cummins engine recalls are Newmar's fault. The brake pedal was a Freightliner Chassis issue which was a simple spring that just didn't have enough pull and kept the brake lights from going off. Cummins found a possible fuel line problem from vibration that they fixed at no charge and was not a recall. Neither were something that could be caught on the production line.
So now without knowing exactly what the problem is we are jumping to the conclusion it is Newmar's fault. Is the loose connection inside of the Transfer Switch or is it out side?
Be thankful that there are recalls. 25 years ago you found out when you RV blew up no matter what brand.

For those of us who are not best in understanding the electrical side of things, can someone explain what exactly to look for and does all power need to be off to check? Pictures would be great but not expected. Thanks for your help.

My question would be why only Newmar would have a recall on problems that are industry wide.
The transfer switch problem is something I learned about 50 years ago on Service Entrance cables. The wire bundle relaxes and needs to be tightened again after a few days to weeks. Inspectors love it. Moving over to RV's with transfer switches just adds vibration.
Gas pedal spring is industry wide.
Fire extinguisher is industry wide.
Where is the rest of the industry?

Transfer switch
I'll check mine soon. Dealer replaced my transfer switch not long after I bought it. Will be interesting if I will be included in the recall.

Maybe Newmar follows this forum, they pay for for advertising their product and also listen to people at the HOOT's rallies.

This will be the most telling. If it looks like this picture, with the pull tab being vertical or if it's a push button model, it's recalled and might not work.
Here is the full identification info.
