NIRVC Presidents personal messege of the purchase

President, Brett Davis of NIRVC gives his personal message regarding the purchase of Newmar. This will hopefully put a lot of the rumors to bed as these are facts from the person with first hand knowledge.

Thanks brobox. That was very informative. We just drove up to NIRVC in Lawrenceville today, late afternoon, and caught GM Todd Springs on the way out. Our full wall slide stopped working at the end of a three week trip and we were looking for a service technician; Todd said he'd take care of it. He has always treated us so well, kindly and like we're family...they really are a great company.

Hopefully our next MH won't be a "Venbago" or "Winn Star". 🤣

Thank you Brett. Yours is a calming voice of wisdom in a sea of hysteria.

Outstanding heartfelt message. Best video on this subject to date. Newmar is and will remain top class A in this price point.

I originally posted this on the Entegra side as a response but it ideally should have been placed here originally.

Kudo's to Mr. Davis,
That was as concise, informative and straight to the point as one could get when trying to describe the economics of a business decision to the general public. When I first met Brett in Lawrenceville Ga @ NIRVC he began the conversation by saying "I'm a numbers guy", I respected that and expected nothing but a "business" decision moving forward with my purchase. He also mentioned to me at the time, similar to the Video, that the purchase of a Motorhome is NOT an investment in a conventional sense but more of a "lifestyle"choice. Over time, numerous reports of NIRVC's customer service at the expense of profits, has separated them from the majority of Dealers!
Does Brett and NIRVC have a vested interest in seeing a successful integration of both Newmar and Winnebago...yes, but as a business model moving forward I trust that NIRVC will be able to further enhance their reputation as a top tier Dealer and continue to support Entegra Owners in the future.
Again, my thanks to Brett for clarifying the purchase of Newmar by Winnebago, I wish him nothing but the best!

It's fascinating to hear directly the perspective of an industry financial expert. Brett Davis voices many things that I have felt anecdotally about the acquisition of Newmar by Winnebago. Both companies stand to benefit in a complimentary fashion, and I see no real downside for either, especially Newmar.

I reacted similarly in my blog when this went down. Click here to check that out.

I've been surprised and somewhat taken aback at the woe-is-me reactions expressed by many of my fellow Newmar owners. I mean, it isn't like the company was purchased by Goldman Sachs or the Mellon Bank of New York. It's Winnebago, for cripes' sake; they know a thing or two about the RV industry. And one thing they know for sure is that Newmar is a great acquisition.

I have to echo Brent Davis's prospective. Personally having been through it with Entegra, we came out with better coaches and we were not purchased by a company as well know as Winnebago. Soon the rumors will die down and the figures that Brett Davis related will come forward.

NIRVC really has CUSTOMER SERVICE as the center piece of their business model. We choice Newmar, London Aire and then NIRVC and all the best choices. NIRVC does what they say they are going to do and then even more. After this week with Winnebago news we feel a lot better about the future of Newmar. Might we say the best has yet to come from Newmar.
