No Backup Lights or Monitor

I have a 2000 Kountry Star DP neither the back up lights nor the back up monitor come on when put into reverse. I have checked all fuses, I can find, all are good. I replaced the NSBU switch on the transmission and that did not correct the problem.

Any ideas on my next step.

Sorry your here with problems.
Does the back up camera work in full time mode ?
Have you checked for a back up light relay ?
Are you on a Freightliner chassis ?
On my F/L there is a box with relays and fuses in the engine bay, VIM-V , it's about 8" square & 4" deep, with a hinged lid ,4 multi wire connectors, 2 in the bottom 2 in the side. I know the neutral sense & other relays in there, and several fuses .
Freightliner has a toll free , Free , Help line , if your on a F/L chassis they will help you.
1-800-385-4357 have your serial number handy.

Yes the monitor will stay on in full time mode. I checked the relay marked back up lights and switched it out and still nothing.
This is a Spartan Chassis.

I've got everything for F/L but can't really help with Spartan.

Could you please take a min. and fill out a " signature line "; from the left hand bar when you're in " User CP " the information will appear below your posts as mine does, and saves typing the info in with every question.

***UPDATE*** REPAIRED

So after looking everywhere that I knew to look for a fuse. A mechanic friend told me to look under the hood above the generator for 2 black bussman boxes. There was a 10amp blown fuse marked REV/PK.

Everything works now.

Good job whiteford23 welcome to the forum & irv2.
Here is a Newmar PDF that shows some of the fuse locations in the DP's for reference.
Enjoy the forums.
