No Hot water

our water heater stopped working on gas electric is ok we have been at high altitude for a 3 months and did not have heater adjusted. When I turn on the heater the light does not come on is there a fuse? Help please

Make/model of heater may help.

If Atwood it could be the thermal cutoff. It is the short wire with a clear plastic cover. You can bypass it to check if it is bad. Unplug it on both ends and then take the wire left and plug it into the board.

If you get the light back at the switch and it will fire up on gas. your problem is found.

Welcome BFT to Newmar forum and irv2.
The Suburban WH has a switch on the face of the heater for electric heating that needs to be on and the switch in your tank display area needs to be on also.
You would have a 12V fuse on your 12V fuse panel plus a circuit breaker in your load center.
