2000 DS with V-10. Just had the AC Fan Clutch and AC compressor replaced and system charged. Ford Dealer did the work and says that there is no power to the compressor. He replaced a 20 amp fuse and still no power. He basically gave up looking and said that he couldn't find anything wrong because the information he had was for trucks and not motorhomes. Anyone had this problem and what was the cause?

Sounds like not much of a Ford mechanic if he can't trace out a simple electrical circuit. Look for an independent certified RV tech to find the problem.

The problem is the dealers are hiring parts changers and not technicians.

You can not charge the ac system correctly without the compressor running. Take it to somebody that knows what they are doing.

A lot of the after markets put a small freeze thermostate with a tube stuck in the evaporator. Usually has two push on wire leads. Lot of time one of the wires gets pulled off. Check that.
