Guess my point is the warranty is no good anyways.
This is where the State Attorney General should be called. I have had two instances in Ohio where not only did a call to the SAG get the issue resolved, but quickly. Not sure how it works, but they put the fear of God in therm. YMMV

Repair required 6 trips replacing main board plus another board, and three other items before bingo they replaced the failed item. Sears appliance repair is contracted to A&E Appliance Repair whose tech's have no clue how to troubleshoot.

Best decision I made in years was to purchase 12 mo. warranty they offered when I called for first appointment. Cost was $269 however A&E billed $1300 before repair was completed. This was only the second extended warranty I have ever purchased and it saved me a bundle.

I wonder how much the repair bill would have been if they had only charged for the failed part and labor, and not for all the perfectly good parts they replaced because they didn't know how to troubleshoot?
