No satellite on the bedroom tv

We are kind of on our maiden voyage traveling west with our new 2012 4324 Ventana motorhome if you don't count the trip bringing it home from Florida to Indiana. Yesterday you helped me solve my mirror issue today I have a problem getting satellite reception on the bedroom tv. The TV's in the front of the mh work fine but the back tv gives you the "Complete Signal Loss" screen from Dish Network. The only connections in the cabinet are a coax satellite cable that gets connected to the satellite receiver and an hdmi cable that gets connected to the back on the satellite receiver also. The tv has always worked fine before on satellite.

We had the motorhome at Newmar (we only live 20 miles away) the end of May with a problem with the shade and a couple of other minor things. At the same time they also performed some recall work for Freightliner I believe. This involved mounting a small box in the top left corner of the electronics cabinet above the drivers seat. I thought maybe something accidentally got pulled loose but I checked in the cabinet and didn't find anything. Any suggestions on where I should look next would be appreciated .

You have a connection issue from the Satellite receiver to the antenna. Double check the connections on back of the receiver especially the coax from from the antenna.

My coax cable in the bedroom cabinet on the back of the receiver is tight and it connects to a satellite connection on the back wall in that cabinet that is also tight. I am not sure where the cable goes from there. Same thing with the hdmi cable. It connects to the back of the receiver from an hdmi outlet on the back wall of the cabinet.

If "Complete Signal Loss" screen from Dish Network is coming from the receiver then the HDMI cable from the receiver to the TV is ok.

Do you have more than one receiver or is there just one on the entire bus

In QT's #3 PDHJohn goes through some pretty elaborate TV SAT connecting , not sure it can help but may explain some connections to the bedroom tv.
Here is one of them, there are other links and they are at the bottom section with all the different LCD's setups.

Do you have some type of selector box to select same SAT and direct signal to each tv location?
Here is part of that thread I gave you:
I got rid of both splitters and ran everything but the sat. through the AV receiver. Plus hooked the receiver second TV output up to the bedroom TV. Here is how: When I pulled everything out of the cabinet I found (at the back screwed to the wall) a coaxial splitter, coming from the over the air antenna. It ran from the antenna to splitter then to living room TV, basement TV connection and bedroom. I disconnected the bedroom connection and hooked it to the back of the sat. receiver's TV2 connection.

There are other links in QT's #3 with other info.

No I don't have a splitter at least that I am aware of. I am not sure where the cables coming from the satellite actually enter the mh.

Let's start with a process of elimination.

First: What do you have? Roof mount dish, or ground?

If roof mount, does your coach have the optional ground sat. hook ups? If so have you bypassed the A/B switch?

You've already proven the connect between the receiver and TV is good. So now we're chasing coax.

If yours is anything like ours, it's a mess of coax.

On ours there was length of coax in the cabinet below the bedroom TV. As it turned out this was a 3 foot extension, for no reason. So I removed it and 1 unnecessary splice.

Does your cabinet look anything like this?

The sat dish connects to the sat receiver through the left coax connection. Could yours have been switched?

Mine has 2 on the left; 1 for the roof top and 1 for the ground dishes.

Not trying to be a wise one but I had a similar problem and solved it by tuning the TV to channel 3 or 4. I know, sounds too simple.

Sometimes simple is the solution, you never know.

I have the roof top winegard dish and no ground dish A B switch. I wish I did but that is another discussion. The cabinet with the bedroom connections is simple. Two outlets on the wall one for the satellite coax that says it is the feed from the satellite and an hdmi outlet that says connect to the satellite receiver. These connections are tight and have not changed since the last time when it worked.
