Norcold 1200 Refrigerator Removal

Has anyone been able to get a 1200 through the entrance door? My dealer said no way possible (windshield or side window only), but the dimensions seem to work out that I have seen in other threads. I just haven't seen a seen (or found) a thread on the removal from a Newmar with the tapered door.

I got mine (Norcold 1200) out when it passed its gas Had to take the doors off the fridge of course, but also removed the passenger seat, the screen door and the grip handle near the door (big chrome handle). With a couple of people and some muscles it was possible on my particular coach.

The new residential (F&P RF170ADUSX4) went in pretty much the same way - took the doors off and in it went. Been much happier ever since.

Mine was replaced during the first week of ownership of my Ventana. Out the side dinette window, faster and easier than you might imagine.

Only you know the measurements, but where you often gain the room you need is by disconnecting the arm at the top of the front door and swing it all the way open. On mine I had to swing the passenger mirror forward so I could swing the door far enough open. By disconnecting the door arm, you typically gain 2" of width.
