I have one of those freezers on a sliding drawer in the basement storage area. However, it does not appear that the drawer slides out far enough for the freezer lid to clear the storage door. Is there a way to adjust the travel on the sliding drawer to overcome this problem?

Ours is the same way. No way to adjust it that I know of other than replacing the slide out unit with another one that slides out further.

Mine APPEARS to be that way but if I pull harder, it extends enough to clear the slideout and fully open the lid...

I happen to have one and was planning to install it on a slide. Come to find out, my Norcold is too high and will not fit.

When we got our first coach we bought off the lot and we had the basement freezer and I thought it was a uneeded option, boy was I wrong. We use ours all the time. We love being able to make it a frig or freezer just by adjusting the temperature and it runs of 12 volt or ac current.
