Norcold Delaminating

Im told my 8 year old Norcold 1200 is delaminating and whole new unit needed.
Has anyone hard of this happening?

Can you provide more detail of what is happening?

Delam has typically related to separation of fiberglass/luan side wall panel layers. I don't understand your reference to delam on a Norcold refer???

Technician pulled refrig out from wall & side panels of fridge are seperating from the inner face of the refrigerator compartment. They checked it because my cooling unit went out and they said they always check that before having me invest in an old fridge. THey weren't shoched by seeing that.

Thats a first must have had poor insulation and water condensing on inner side walls.

Not sure if it's the same but we had some of what I would call 'condensation damage' below the old cooling unit. I believe it was from the very poor sealing job the tech did around the foam pack when the cooling unit was replaced back in 04-05'. You can see what we did to repair too:
