I am think I read something that 007 posted in his "sticky" here Newmar Owner's Forum - iRV2 Forums on the top of the Newmar forum, Maybe he will remember the person that commented on the subject and his post, I am thinking 007 added the post to the stickys.

I have not come across that thread yet but can agree that florescent ballasts will cause problems with control boards if its not the fridge it could be a control for your slide system.
In QT's # 3 there is a section on florescent lights and changing to the LED Type and some of them do not need a ballasts for operation anymore, eliminates two problems better lighting and no more interference to control boards.

Our problem with our 2012, 3810 Canyon Star regarding the fridge was finally fixed. We replaced the Light by the fridge, over the sink and in the hallway with the LCD lights, lights close to the fridge that were florescent.
Since doing the change over which was 3 months ago no further problem. Ballasts seem to affect the Norcold fridges.

I had the fluorescent light over the sink affect both my Intellitec EMS System and my Tank Level System. Replaced the light with a new ThinLight fixture and all is well.

I have heard that they can affect the Norcold too but it should be easily tested. Once you find the culprit light, turn it off and on to see what affect it has on the Norcold.

It should ONLY affect the fridge when it is ON not OFF.
