Now That's Customer Service!

Called Newmar this morning to order some parts for the Bay Star. I want to add a rocker switch to kill the main power lead to the dash radio, and also a switch to turn off the antennae booster for the TST TPMS system. After talking to the rep and telling him what I was doing, he came back at me with, "doesn't your Bay Star have a dummy switch next to the switch for the windshield shade?". Well... yeah it does. He said I can give you a dash switch that will fit right in where that dummy switch is. No cutting. No fussing. He said it is more expensive though. So for two sets of switches, bases, and blank bezels, and the dash switch - $40. I actually called him back because for that price I was sure he forgot something. Nope.

So not only did they tell me a better way to do it, I get what I consider a great price on the parts. Try doing that at you local Ford Parts department.
