Oasis Annual Service Kit

Being very anal, I want to have an Oasis service kit (tune up kit) in my coach in case there is an issue while on the road. I went to the Oasis website and found two service centers near me. I called one and they said they never heard of Oasis, even though they were listed by Oasis as a service center.

I called the second service center and they said they don't sell the kit because they rarely ever see any Oasis units. They mainly deal with Aqua Hot units.

I called Oasis, who doesn't show that they sell parts. I explained my dilemma and they said they would gladly sell me the service kit. They laughed about the two service centers and said that often the ones they have listed do the service until the one guy who knows how, leaves and then they have no one to do it.

They were actually glad to see someone was willing to do their own service. The kit is $102.00 plus basic shipping. There is a good video that shows how to do the service (pretty simple).

I just wanted to have a kit on board in case a filter gets plugged or a burner tip goes bad.

"slabman"......That can be stored indoors. Found another storage spot when I installed the extra pantry drawer. Down at the bottom of the pantry, under the last drawer, there is a ton of space for rarely used items.

Here is another thread that has some information on the annual service kits. As Dutch Star Don said ... it's a good item to keep in your spare parts bag!

OK the OASIS INFORMATION is now a round robin between all the threads related to it in QT's # 3.
