Oasis Combustion Fan Replacement

After having several recent Heater Module Fault Lights(red) along with a blinking led light(green) for the combustion fan on the panel of our Oasis Model CH50 system, I contacted ITR and ordered a new combustion fan and summer loop pump(these are known to fail often). Are both of these items 12v or 120v? My electrical experience is limited "but" I would be more inclined to try the replacement myself if 12v and not so much if ac.

Hi - With the exception of the electric elements, the Oasis is a 12 volt device. The pump and fan are 12 volts.

finally found time to replace the "combustion fan" (which had quit working)on our Oasis system. 30-45 minute job. Every thing working as expected now. Thanks 007 & Ricci for your input.

"JC2"....Now that you have the spare pump, get a set of these for your toolbox, when/if you change the pump. It pinches off the coolant hose while you do the pump swap.

I just replaced my Combustion Fan too. Back up and running.

I dissected the old fan and tried to source the Brushless DC motor. Can't find the exact pn. The ones I found in that series were over 170 euros. No wonder the thing costs as much as it does.

I did the same thing, called the manufacturer and the motor with shipping priced out to over 200 dollars. Hopefully I’ll never loose the fan again, but the cost from ITR is not obscene given the cost of the motor. Once I ordered the fan, I had it in just a few days. So I guess I’ll just deal with ITR.

Yeah, ITR has been fantastic. Both times I’ve ordered...they had the shipment out the door that day. No complaints about their level of service. Not always easy to get them on the phone...as I am sure they are helping customers with trouble shooting...but if I send a request by email...boom...order fulfilled. Very nice.

I tried to plant an idea of ITR stocking an Amazon Store...so RV’rs that like to do their own maintenance could order parts thru Amazon...and most likely receive them from distribution warehouses within a day or two. Just a thought.

I use those as they are easy to fit into tight areas for pinching off soft hoses.

What were the combustion fan failing symptoms .?

Mine has developed a high pitched squeal - thinking a bearing is about to let go ?
