Looks like the aquastat the folks from Oasis replaced has gone bad again...
Woke up this morning and realized after the second showeer we had an issue with the hot water, checked the Oasis burner display and it was showing fault...Called Jason and confirmed I was supposed to reset it and it came back on..
Oasis is checking with their engineers to see what the next move will be,whether it's here in Daytona or up the road a piece.

When the Newmar reps where in Ft. Myers a few weeks ago, I asked one of them why they had left Vehicle Systems (Aquahot) in favor of the Oasis system on the LA bus. One said it was supposed to be a big upgrade from the Essex and the Hydro hot burner system, but it sounds as though from your experience, they might have been better off keeping a tried and true product.

It may be more appropriate on another topic listing, but how about giving us an update on Bike week and your "wild hogs" adventure.

Having discussed this w/several people, Newmar tehcs and others, the switch was due to Oasis wanting the business more. I cannot in any way judge the two products against each other. I certainly hope it works out for Newmar as all 2008 products will have Oasis products.

Bob, When bike week is over get yourself down south here as you won't need heat here. For hot water you should be able to run the electrical element and regardless of the readout saying "Error" it will work.
