Oasis fan noise vs Aqua Hot

We had AquaHot/HydroHot for the past 20 years and always enjoyed it because it was relatively quiet. We are finding the Oasis fans VERY loud. Is this normal?

Yes, but electric floor heat is ultra quiet.
I use the Oasis to chase the chill out and maintain with the electric floor heat.

I also think they're noisier than they should be. I would be curious to see the comparison in radiator size and fan design between the two brands. The noise was a contributing factor in ordering the fireplace and heated floors.

We've found the heated floors are pretty much all you need when you have hookups, which is 95% of the time for us.

Yes, the radiator fans are noisier, as is the fuel fired boiler. Thankfully we use either rarely, depending on the heat pumps and the Oasis' electric elements 95% of the time.

Hi - We have had both and the Cozi heat exchangers that we had with the Aquahot are just as loud as the ones on the Oasis. There are scores of quiet computer fans out there and why they don't use them is beyond me. Nothing like a drone convention at 3 a.m. when you are trying to sleep. Overall I think the Oasis is the superior unit unless you go to the 600/675 AH units.

All - Have HH unit in present coach, I can hear fans in it as well, not to noisy for me, but, since they are so quiet, heated air movement is very slight, would rather have lots of heat, even if this means louder fans.

OK, Thanks.

I guess I'll just have to live with the noise. Fortunately the heated floors will help.

Can a Muffler be added to the exhaust pipe to quiet the exhaust down. My neighbors complain about the noise. I thought I read a thread that something was available.

Yes there is a muffler for the Oasis. Manufacture of the Oasis has the details.

Newmar elected to NOT spec out mufflers on the Oasis unit. I don't know what year they stopped using them. I called Oasis when my 2019 arrived and I believe they said a muffler was about $250.00. I find the new coach isn't any louder than the old coach that had a muffler. It would be interesting for someone to use a meter and check the decibels of both. Oasis may even have those stats.

Would anybody have a picture showing what one of these mufflers looks like?

Is this thread about the interior fans that are noisy? Or also about the exhaust sound is noisy?

For interior...anyone take a look at PC fans as a replacement for the loud ones? I am referencing my Hydrohot radiators...I assume the Oasis is similar pancake fans.
EDIT: I see this idea was already posted...

For exhaust...there are lots of aftermarket small mufflers that are inexpensive. I am curious if they would work well on the heating system.
