Oasis heater maintenance

I thought I'd share some information that some of you may not know. If you have an Oasis heating system do you know that there is yearly, 3 year, and 5 year maintenance kits? The kits are sold through ITR, Oasis Heating Systems | International Thermal Research

If you call them, they will sell and ship the required kit to you. Also, there is an hour meter on the top left-hand side of the burner unit, you may want to note the hours before calling them.

There is also a very good "YouTube" video on how to do the work.

Great info.

Thanks Charlie

Ours had the 3 year tune up in 2012. So the 5 year kit will be on my list for 2014. Looks fairly simple to work on.

harleychief ... thanks for posting the video. That is a big help.

Are the maintenance kits listed on the web site or do you have to call to get them? I could not find them on-line. Was just wondering what the difference was between the different year kits.

This is an awesome video. Does anyone know where the electrical side of the heating system is located? Are there electrical elements in the Oasis box or are they somewhere else. Most of the time we are operating on the electric elements but I am not sure where they are located if I had a problem.

Thanks for posting the video

Jack,
If you go to the web site, I think it's under support, you can download the owners manual and the maintenance manual. The electric elements are shown in the maintenance manual and a step by step on how to replace them and which one is which (I & II).

Steve - just give them a call, they don't list the individual kits. The 3 year has everything the 1 year has plus a flame sensor, the 5 year has everything plus a new nozzle.
