Just use regular locking pliers. BTW, Harbor Freight also has hose pinch-off pliers which I use. https://www.harborfreight.com/radiat...ers-99704.html

Yes, they worked on mine! And the nice thing is they "lock" closed at various tension levels.

Ah, in your years of ownership you've never checked your Oasis tank?

Maybe you should re-read the original problem reported in #1.
Personally I have replaced my loop 1 pump and have never let the level drop below the minimum. But judging anything by color alone seems foolish.

John, I wrote the #1 post, so when you re-read it you will note the word "almost", meaning "not quite" before the word "empty"! If you've researched the Oasis System you are aware there are two colors of Boiler Fluid, Pink and Yellow. And if you've paid attention to ITR's briefings at the Hoots Rally's and/or spoke with ITR Technicians that's exactly how they tell you to differentiate your fluid, by the color, (CAMCO Boiler Fluid) Pink or (Century Boiler Fluid) Yellow. Since you've replaced a pump and serviced your Oasis we assume you've noted the color of the fluid in your system. But, if you feel better validating by part numbers great! Now, for the rest of us, differentiation via color will most likely suffice!

There are two different fluids used by ITR in their Oasis units, either Camco or Century. You can tell them apart by their color. DO NOT MIX fluids!! If the fluids are mixed you will have a "sludge mess" that will require the entire system to be flushed and re-serviced!

Didn't realize only options are pink and yellow. Had some work done on the system and its more of a green color. I hope some idiot didn't fill it with prestone anti freeze. My spare fluid is yellower.

ITR gave me the tip to get long nose vise grips and wrap with electrical tape. Save lots of money plus I bought three at less money than hose clamp.
Question: Has anyone bought the self priming pump, if so, where did you get the pump for purging possible air out of Oasis system.

Are you referring to the external pump used for servicing the system?

When I purged my system, I bought a 12 volt diaphragm pump like the one in the coach fresh water system. Used a jump box to power the pump. I had to flush the system several times. When the water appeared clear, I would disconnect the hoses and use air to remove the rest of the water so it would not dilute the solution. Every time I would blow the excess water out I would get some of the old transfer fluid. I did that until it was clear.
ITR has a YouTube video on how to purge the system.
ITR will send you step by step directions for the asking or you can PM me and I send them to you.
Be safe

Yes. Rep at Perry Georgia FMCA show stated to get a Shurflo pump. Many pumps out there.
12 volt
45 PSI
Just curious is there one out there that minimizes going back to store to buy additional items like tubing, barbs, clamps ect....

I would guess not! Looks like its going to be purchase pump, figure out mount and power setup (the one in the video is great), then roll next to coach and measure hose lengths for servicing. After seeing this video I think I will make up this rig and due my own fluid exchange!
