Does anyone but me wonder why a unit that needs annual service is not installed in such a way as to make service easy? How about installing it on a slide-out tray (yes, I know it would require flexible connections) or, at least, turning it around so that the areas to be serviced are facing the outside.
Putting the unit in a position where it is difficult to service pretty much ensures that a lot of units will not receive proper servicing. Not smart, IMHO.
