Oasis - Summer Loop?

What is "Summer Loop" on the Oasis unit and how does it function? Can't find this information anywhere and only a slight reference to it in the Oasis documentation.

The original idea behind the summer loop was to stop the flow of hot boiler fluid through the exchangers during the warm season. There will always be some natural convection of heat. Leaving you with endless hot water, but not adding unnecessary heat in.

They must have made some change, because my manual says not to worry about it.

You may want to read this thread if you have problems during the summer months getting cool air out of your Evans unit.
