Oasis Touch Panel - Dimensions?
I can't seem to find anything on the touch panel. Does anyone know both the cut out and display dimensions? Depth also?

I'm not at my coach. I can tell you they make two versions. One is closer to the button style panel size, only requiring a little sanding to widen the original cutout width. Height was good, and depth was similar.
Width overall is about 1/4" wider, and so was height.

Looking at your photo I'm wondering if you had a different interface or if it is an optical illusion. My face size is 5" high by 4" wide. The cut out is 4.25" high by 2.75" wide.
Sadly, yesterday I replaced the original panel with a nice new one to accommodate swapping out the standard tank and battery sensors displays for SeeLevel and rearranging things to my liking. I managed to toast my Oasis interface with a stray hot wire that got away from me.
With Newmar I'm 7-10 days away from a replacement. NOT happy wife, NOT happy life.
Newmar parts department didn't seem to have a clue about the touch screen display. As soon as ITR opens (7:30 Pacific Time) I will call ITR and see what they can do for me.
I'm not against upgrading my older display for the newer one. I found your info on how you added the block heater and demonstrated the display. If I have to upgrade to a different interface I will study it closer. The trick is whether or not the newer display is "plug n play".
I just reviewed your tutorial and it didn't look like it would fit well by just looking at it. However, I'm now thinking the "optical illusion" is that your touch screen is not as tall and slightly wider than the original. If that is the case I would be fine with that. I can have another panel cut and made with a minor change to the layout that could be helpful while I'm at it.
Of course, I'm on pins & needles hoping that the interface sacrificed itself and nothing else got damaged. SIGH!

When I return home I will get you a better picture of the old unit next to new unit
It was plug and play. Here are some pictures I havent posted that I took during the install.
I had already removed the screws, that is why the panel is crooked.

Well, good news & bad news. LOL
Good News: ITR has my current interface in stock for about $60. That is less than half of the Newmar price.
Bad News: Overnight with delivery by noon on Saturday $130.
Best News: Happy wife by Saturday afternoon...PRICELESS!

I hope so! LOL
There is always a chance that my experiment in electricity may have also affected the control board. I think (hope) the small trace work on the interface board sacrificed itself for the greater good.
I should know more tomorrow.

Success!
I got the standard replacement for my Oasis interface this morning. The weather caused a delay so instead of by 9 am I got it about 11:30. No big deal.
Anyway...plugged it in and everything fired up!
I haven't replaced the cover to the panel but will do so later. I'm real happy with the panel and layout. I hope to replace the white labels with clear labels. I'm going to try to find some place I can have them made to show 2 lines instead of a single line. Being OCD sucks!
