it was a Spartan booth ( actually a trailer outside the main tent). They were selling filters, etc..and answering questions. I will send a note off to Cummins when i get a chance. I hope it has nothing to do with the DPF's. My Ford 2008 F350 used to add diesel to the oil on a regular basis....one of the reasons I sold it and will never have a Ford again!!!! ( don't get me started on this!)

On our 2002 DSDP I store the rig with the front tires suspended for months at a time. Been doing it for years.
Newmar says it's OK
Reyco Granning (front axle maker) say's it's OK.
Spartan says it's OK.
So I do

The rear wheels: NO WAY as that's where your parking brakes are and I really don't want it to roll!

When in doubt about oil change intervals the best way to find out when your oil needs replacement is to have a oil analysis done...

It's easy to do and it will also keep an eye on the internals of your motor, when the analysis shows high metal concentration it can often be narrowed down to which component is putting the metal in the oil. (They will detect antifreeze & fuel present too).

You don't have to buy Amsoil to use oil analysis. Standard grade oils can be tested to. I think the last time I had my Peterbilt checked it cost me $20-$25.. (They do it on site at Speedco truck lube centers..) Speedco's normaly handle tractor trailers but can service some RV's.. just ask!

Hope I helped a little bit!
