It is one of your radio antenna's from either the passenger or driver side. The position is almost directly above the passenger or driver.

Looks like a CB antenna - usually on the drivers side.

That one should be your AM/FM antenna. The CB antenna, if you have one, should be a single wire/rod with a base loading coil, and probably on a spring below the base coil.

My coach has had two identical ones, one on each side. In my case, one was for the entertainment center radio, the other was for the automotive radio. The ice breaks them off every year. Don't listen to radio that much, so quit replaceing them. (I did get replacements at Minnie, Moe and Jacks)

Romeo is right. It's the AM-FM antenna from the right side. Try Newmar Parts for a replacement.

Oh it is from passenger side. Go inside to check radio is hard with winter cover on it. It was strange rubber burned off of bottom of spring. Yes 'burned off, I think from splash of lighting string some years ago. All radios have worked fine.
Though I ask the experts, people who have had Newmar's a long time.
I've only had mine sence 1994,,,, ?

I would say its for your radio would have still worked if connected but broken, the rubber may have just dried out.
Your CB ant for your age coach would be like mine wire rod spring at connection to bend with over hang encounter of branch or bridge.
Good to hear slide is fixed just need some tape on roof seams.

I have 3 such antenna's on my passenger side. Dealer said they are for 1-dash radio, 2-entertainment consol radio, & 3-for a cellular radio. I have replace 2 of them to date & got them at my local auto supply store. Look for a universal fit unit.
