That is going to be one heck of a claim. Hopefully no new owners were waiting on these. Still if I were the dealer, o boy is all I can say.

Full engine $15,000 -$20,000 is what I've seen for price. Lots of variables.

Somebody somewhere is having a very bad day.

The front of them look like they have a gas grill.
Not many truck stops have gas pumps at the truck islands.
Don't think many 40' + MH with tag axle are gas powered.

Did they stop putting a sticker inside the fuel opener on the fuel type to use?

Mine is labeled, Diesel Fuel Only.

Somebody just wasn't paying attention.

Even if there was no label (which I suspect was there), the drivers should have known since the opening for diesel is so much larger than gas.

BTW, I never understood why the pumps are built that way: you won't destroy a gas engine by putting diesel fuel in but you'll certainly destroy a diesel engine with gasoline.

They will probably drain the ranks, flush the lines, change the fuel filters and fuel pump. Injectors only if it doesn't run after that. Then some poor unsuspecting buyer will never know why their motor rattles a little bit more than others!

I've heard the pay for moving RVs is less than fast food. Too bad that order got messed up.

Not exactly sure if they are still doing it but, the last I heard not all stations use green handles for their diesel pumps. BP was using black handles for diesel and green for gas.

I have a hard time believing anyone transporting these rigs was stupid enough to not know what they are driving and what fuel to put in. I mean, come on!
